The application process requires you to complete an application form

In completing the application form attention should be given to all areas. This form will determine the data about you entered onto the database.

It will take some time to complete the form and we suggest that, in the first instance, you read the form and collect all the information requested before you start to complete it. On completion, you will receive a confirmation email which contains a copy of your application.

With referees, it is important to ensure that your current or most recent line manager is listed as a referee and that all referees are aware that they have been nominated.

Do not list personal referees, or anyone who cannot comment on your teaching ability, as schools are only interested in professional references

Each referee will receive a request to provide written feedback on your teaching and relationships with students and peers. These confidential checks will be made available to schools only when you are short-listed for a teaching position. Reference checks are only sent to you referees after you have been through the interview process.

If your application is successful, you will be required to pay the $AU 77 (incl. $AU 7 GST) registration fee.
